Grant Township Residents Scheduled Electrical Outage

Consumers Energy will be relocating an electric line in our area that will require an outage for some of our residents.

The outage will take place on March 27th (backup date of March 28th) between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and is on the McKay Farm Ckt. of our Magnus Sub.

This list is not all-inclusive, but residents on these roads may be affected:  Harrison Ave., Surrey Rd., Timber Ridge, Kapplinger Dr. and Sockeye Ct.

All customers will have been notified of the outage by Consumers.

The Grant Township Board of Review will meet on March 5, 2024 at 4pm, Organization Meeting.

 

The Board of Review will meet on March 11, 2024 from 9am to 12pm and 6pm to 9pm for Appeals.

 

The Board of Review will meet on March 12, 2024 from 9am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm for Appeals.

 

You must provide documents to support your Appeal.  You may appear in person, or mail appeals to: Grant Township Board of Review, P.O. Box 208, Clare, Michigan, 48617.  Appeals can also be placed in the Drop Box at the entrance to the Township Hall.  Drop Box or Mailed Appeals must be received before March 12.  The Board of Review meets in accordance with the General Property Tax Act and under the Open Meetings Act.  All meetings are open to the public.  All meetings are held at the Grant Township Hall, 3022 E. Surrey Rd., Clare, Michigan.
